Heidi has committed her clinical career to focus on the needs of children, adolescents and families. She has been in the social services field for 20 years and has been licensed as a clinical social worker since 2003. Heidi has had a variety of professional experiences in outpatient mental health, inpatient mental health and medical settings and draws from the richness these experiences have provided. Heidi continues her work as a psychotherapist and has added Neurofeedback to her list of skills. Heidi is working towards becoming Certified in the Othmer Method as well as having her BCIA certification.
Heidi draws from a variety of approaches and insights with a focus on providing empowerment and guidance to individuals and families in overcoming challenges that influence daily functioning and optimal wellness. Heidi provides a supportive and interactive space that encourages individuals to draw on their strengths, develop new skills and tools and gain insight into thoughts and behaviors that can be self limiting. Through a collaborative approach that honors individual needs and values, Heidi serves as a sounding board and collaborator in achieving goals, navigating difficult emotions and renewing strengths.
In her free time Heidi enjoys time with her family and pets, hiking, camping, rafting and enjoying all that nature has to offer.
